Queen Mother sculpture finished days after her death emerges for sale – Telegraph

A sculpture of the Queen Mother that was completed just days after her death has emerged for sale.

The bronze bust that depicts the centenarian with her well-known smile has been put up for sale for £35,000 to mark the 20th anniversary of her death.

It was created by renowned artist Vivien Mallock, an associate of the Royal Society of British Sculptors.

The work depicts the Queen Mother in a hat and wearing a palm leaf brooch that was made for the then Queen Elizabeth by Cartier in 1938.
