In September, as people are returning to work and school, so are we. We had an exciting delivery from overseas followed by a photo shoot. As we unpacked Charlie was delighted to see pieces he bought so long ago he had almost forgotten them. He and Mike needed the help of a fork lift for a particularly large crate and later for a massive desk and a heavy marble. Boxes and bubble-wrap opened to reveal a ship’s poop-deck clock, cabinets, sideboards, five globes, Japanese bronzes and the pair of Gillows side tables, shown on the right, still in some of their wrapping.
Wick Antiques was established by Charles Wallrock in the early 1980s. Having grown up in the Antiques world Charles developed an extensive wealth of knowledge.
