New Stock – from Davenport to Foudroyant – March 18

23rd March 2018

Charlie has been busy buying stock here and in the United States.  Above we have a long set of dining chairs, comprising ten side chairs and two carvers.  These can be attributed to Gillows by comparing them to page 255, plate B28 in Volume II of Susan Stuart’s comprehensive and invaluable study of Gillows of London (Antique Collectors’ Club, Woodbridge, 2008). New Stock – from Davenport to Foudroyant – March 18 – Wick Antiques
