Amazing Craftsmanship – October 2018

10th October 2018

We have a friend and client who built his fortune on manufacturing. He frequently tells us that the prodigious number of hours and the technical skills required to make so many of our antique pieces – not just furniture but also decorative Japanese works of art – would render them far too expensive to produce today. As these newsletters so often feature overall photographs of our wonderful stock I have decided to focus on the craftsmanship and incredible attention to detail which has created them.
