April and May have passed by in a blaze of glorious sunshine and we are looking ahead to the beginning of the Fair season in London – which means Masterpiece for us. This always requires a considerable amount of pre-planning but this year we have a larger stand in order to showcase our single themed collection ‘Britain at Sea from Nelson to Churchill’. In addition, after a gap of nearly a decade, we have produced a 120-page colour catalogue describing 72 of the pieces in conjunction with Martyn Downer, author of ‘Nelson’s Purse’ and ‘Nelson’s Lost Jewel: The Extraordinary Story of the Lost diamond Chelengk.’
Wick Antiques was established by Charles Wallrock in the early 1980s. Having grown up in the Antiques world Charles developed an extensive wealth of knowledge.
