The very best news is that Charlie has just completed a brilliant, but protracted, negotiation to return the large Royal Dutch mirror, made by the great French master craftsman Majorelle, to its original home – Het Loo Palace. Standing 10 feet tall, this imposing piece was part of a suite of over 20 items especially commissioned in 1888.
Wick Antiques was established by Charles Wallrock in the early 1980s. Having grown up in the Antiques world Charles developed an extensive wealth of knowledge.
