A Victorian burr-walnut bookcase with three glazed doors above cupboard doors and with a central arched section, all enclosing three shelves.

Provenance: This bookcase is beautifully constructed with the carcass timber being of top quality polished mahogany, then veneered with carefully chosen burr walnut veneers. Though not signed by the cabinet maker he must have been a highly skilled craftsmen and was obviously proud off this particular piece as he has finished the inside of the upper section glazed doors with ormolu beading, which is a feture I have never seen in 33 years of business.
