A fine 19th century French shaped ormolu mounted bureau plat retaining its original tooled red Moroccan leather inset, raised upon four cabriole legs. This lovely bureau plat is freestanding with fine kingwood and boxwood trellis work veneers to the front as well as the rear. The front has 5 drawers, 2 to the left, one to the centre and a single draw to the right.
