Footnote:  Josslyn Seymour Egerton (1883 – 1946 ) was a Major in the Coldstream Guards and a Page of Honour to Queen Victoria and Edward VII at Buckingham Palace.  Prince Arthur Duke of Connaught & Strathearn (1850 – 1942) was the 7th child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. He was the only Prince to serve as Governor General of Canada.  He was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the British Army, serving some 40 years and seeing service around the Empire.  In 1902 he was promoted to Field Marshal and served as Commander-in-Chief of Ireland.
