A late Regency brass-inlaid mahogany Wellington chest attributed to Gillows, of rectangular form with a porphyry top above seven leather-inset drawers, the top one with a hinged front opening to reveal five pigeon holes, the corners with hinged flaps disguising the locking mechanism, decorated with restrained brass stringing, all raised on shaped plinth with disguised castors. English, circa 1825.
