The tables have white marble tops above carved and painted friezes raised on slender tapering legs, painted in cream, blue and grey with gilding.
Footnote: The cresting is an allegorical reference to the prosperity of the island of Mallorca; the pearls show the abundance of the seas; the trident is the symbol of Neptune; the staff represents the Rule of Justice; the caduceus is for commercial dominance and the column is for financial strength and stability.
