Description
A small early Victorian walnut and tulipwood crossbanded pedestal desk the rectangular top inset with a gilt-tooled leather writing surface and with an ovolo moulded edge, above one long and two short frieze drawers, over six graduated drawers flanking the kneehole, on plinth bases.

The distinctive turned and knopped handles of the present lot appear similar to that recognisable element of pieces produced by the renowned cabinet making firm, Holland and Sons.
