A superb rectangular Regency penwork card box, of rectangular form with a hinged lid decorated with an Indian procession of a caparisoned camel flanked by walking attendants including a standard bearer and followed by a mounted outrider, the borders and sides with lush foliage and flowers, the interior lined in red silk with seven compartments, four with silk trays with ribbon handles, containing bone fish-shaped counters and several packs of George III playing cards by Hunt & Sons and Hall & Banks. English, circa 1815.
