An attractive Queen Anne style mahogany sofa, with a tall back and high outswept arms, the cabriole legs with scroll-carved knees, the original needlework upholstery showing three large floral bouquets in vases on the back, and a pastoral landscape of a dog surprising a flock of swans on a lake in front of a stately home on the seat, all within abundant floral borders, on a blue ground. English, c1915.
