An unusual pair of Goncalo Alves side cabinets attributed to George Bullock, each of rectangular form with the original breche violette marble top set above a central frieze drawer and two cupboard doors with the original quadruple brass wire trellis flanked by four turned and partially ebonised columns, the drawer decorated with a border of brass stars set in ebony, the handles inlaid with brass patera, all on four turned feet, (one marble restored). English, c1810.
