This set of Regency mahogany chairs comprises two carvers and twelve side chairs. Each chair has a drop-in seat within a curved seat rail above turned and reeded legs. The backs have rope twist cresting rails and ebony strung splats.
The reeded legs and quality of both the craftsmanship and the timber would suggest that these chairs were manufactured by the firm of Gillow.
