Space Invaders – February 2022

24th February 2022

Space!  What a boon our new warehouse has proved to be already.  We unloaded our most recent container from overseas in half an hour, as we could trundle the forklift right into the huge central floorspace.  Then we unwrapped at leisure in the dry – no more worries about keeping raindrops off polished wood surfaces or absorbent upholstery.  The best moment, however, came on photography day.  Finally, we are able to photograph pieces which have been too big to capture before.  First up was a 25ft 6in table with 11 leaves and 24 chairs from Stokesey Hall!  It took all morning just to set up, but with the ground floor and mezzanine combined our photographer has managed to convey its size.
