A photo album which captured Prince Philip’s solo round-the-world cruise in 1959 has gone on sale in Lymington. Antique dealer Charles Wallrock of Wick Antiques spotted the album which shows pictures of the Duke of Edinburgh aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, at a recent sale. Put together by an office photographer for himself, it follows the four month journey taking in Singapore, Hong Kong and a number of South Pacific Islands.
Wick Antiques was established by Charles Wallrock in the early 1980s. Having grown up in the Antiques world Charles developed an extensive wealth of knowledge.
